Kris McGrew is a Manager in the Chicago office and has more than six years combined experience in forensic accounting, litigation consulting and auditing. Mr. McGrew has extensive experience assisting companies and their counsel in a variety of matters including: forensic accounting and corporate investigations, damage analyses, financial restatements, breach of contract claims, business valuations, patent infringement, and various general litigation matters.
Mr. McGrew’s forensic accounting experience includes matters involving improper revenue recognition, accounting for stock based compensation, impairment of loans and misappropriation of assets. Additionally, Mr. McGrew has performed economic damages analyses in patent infringement. While specific issues vary by engagement, most have included evaluation and analysis of financial and strategic data to support or rebut quantification of lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, unjust enrichment or diminished business value.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Mr. McGrew worked in the forensic accounting practice at Alvarez & Marsal and provided audit services at a Big Four accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
