Toni Pincott is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has acted as parties' expert or advisor as well as mediated and determined a range of commercial disputes since 1988.   Prior to setting up StoneTurn’s London office, she spent nine years with a global accounting firm in their audit and disputes practice and then for the last 15 years developing the forensic accounting and investigations practice of Grant Thornton, latterly heading up their London practice.   

In this time Toni has acted on a wide spectrum of disputes involving quantum or accounting issues as well as investigations, both civil and commercial.  Her work encompasses breach of contract and warranty as well as loss of profit claims, insurance or negligence claims, post acquisition disputes and business and share valuations.

International and arbitration work includes bilateral investment treaty disputes, international joint venture or distribution disputes and fraud & corruption investigations.  Her regulatory experience covers anti -trust and competition work as well as utility regulation.

Over her career, she has worked on over 200 cases, acted as expert, determiner or mediator and has given oral evidence in court and arbitral proceedings both in the UK and abroad. She is a non practising barrister, a CEDR registered mediator and a member of the Academy of Experts and Expert Witness Institute as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, working towards fellowship.
